Jefferson is beyond thrilled to be joining the Texas Smoke as a utility player. She hails from The University of Texas at Austin and is excited to be coming home! A native Texan, Jefferson was born in Houston where she grew up with her parents, Vincent and Catherine Jefferson, and her brother Jalen. Her cousin, Michael Jackson, was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1986-2004 for the Phillies, Mariners, Giants, Reds, Indians (played in the 1997 World Series), Astros, Twins and White Sox, winning 62 games and registering 142 saves during his career.

One of Jefferson’s most memorable moments in softball was going to the Women’s College World Series her senior year (2022). Her senior year at The University of Texas, her team became the only team in Texas history and the first unseeded team to make it to the championship series.

Her passions include creative outlets like drawing and photography. Jefferson also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and loves surprises!
